ABOUT Our Founder & Executive Director
Dr. Rochelle Estrada is a dedicated mentor, educator, counselor, and community leader whose passion for helping others discover their purpose and potential has impacted countless lives. With a diverse background in education, mental health, counseling, youth development, and ministry, Dr. Estrada has devoted her career to empowering individuals to overcome challenges, develop confidence, and pursue their dreams.
Dr. Estrada began her educational journey in the Philadelphia School System, where she studied Culinary Arts. After working in the culinary field for several years, she continued her education at the Philadelphia School of Technology, earning a certificate in Medical Terminology and Transcription. She then began a successful career in the healthcare industry, working with organizations including U.S. Healthcare and Visiting Nurses.
Driven by a passion for helping people on a deeper level, Dr. Estrada later pursued theological and counseling studies at Tabernacle Bible Institute in Brandon, Florida, where she earned a Master's Degree in Christian Counseling. This led her into the mental health field, where she worked as a Therapeutic Support Staff professional assisting adolescents facing emotional and behavioral challenges. She also served as a Mental Health Case Worker within the foster care system, providing guidance, advocacy, and support to youth and families.
Committed to lifelong learning and service, Dr. Estrada returned to Tabernacle Bible Institute and earned both a Doctorate Degree in Religion and a Ph.D. in Philosophy. Throughout her career, she has combined her educational background, counseling expertise, and faith-based leadership to help individuals achieve personal growth and transformation.
As a longtime advocate for youth development, Dr. Estrada has served in various leadership roles within the church, including Director of Youth Ministries and Youth Pastor. Her dedication to mentoring young people inspired her to establish Dare to Dream Empowerment Center, a nonprofit organization committed to helping youth, families, and communities discover their gifts, develop their talents, and reach their full potential through creativity, mentorship, leadership development, and the arts.
Dr. Estrada has also made significant contributions to the mental health field, including helping develop and facilitate innovative programs that supported students through a partnership between outpatient therapy services and a cyber high school. Through this initiative, more than 250 students successfully completed the program and graduated with their high school diplomas.
Today, Dr. Estrada continues her work in behavioral health and substance abuse recovery services while leading Dare to Dream Empowerment Center's mission to inspire creativity, encourage personal growth, and empower individuals to transform their lives.
Through her leadership, compassion, and commitment to service, Dr. Rochelle Estrada continues to help others discover what she believes is within every person: the ability to dream, grow, and achieve beyond their limitations.
